OCTOBER 2015 EDA INCLUSIVE

For this month's Club EDA Inclusive I decided to revisit a video I shot at Java Joe's in San Diego, CA on the rainy night of Jan. 11, 1996. It was a full house. I'm sure the EDA's who were there remember it well. I shot this on a very basic 8mm video camera using the onboard microphone. I set up the video camera on a tripod and let it run wild while I roamed around shooting photos and keeping an eye on the merch table by the door. It's fascinating to look back nearly 20 years at this early version of A Boy Needs A Bike and hear how it evolved into the exquisite version that is on her new CD Picking Up The Pieces. I hope this video gives you a sense of what it was like being there that night.  - West
