For this month's EDA inclusive I decided to revisit the video archives and found a mini DV tape that was shot at a San Diego grocery store in 1999. It was shot by Jewel's longtime friend Bibi Bielat, as was the previous video at the horse stables. Both are great examples of the many, many hours of informal video that was shot in the early years of Jewel's career. One idea was to use these short videos in bigger projects like Life Uncommon but, unfortunately, many of these clips fell through the cracks and not used due to time constraints and other issues. Videos like these not only captured a glimpse into Jewel's everyday life back then but also her unique sense of humor.  - Enjoy, West Kennerly
