I'm a fairly new follower of Jewel's organization and feel it is an honour to be an EDA. Did the organization start in SanDiego? Is there any kind of vision statement or formalized mission?

I am so happy with Alan's provision of the downloads.

I've been listening since Spirit... Being a composer, I tend to study CD's as much as listen for enjoyment and I believe that Jewel's professional standards are far beyond almost all popular music. To my ear, they are top tier with people like McCartney and a very few others.

I don't think I am overstating matters to confess that I find, not just the music, but Jewel's integrity of person to be astounding and find myself practicing an imitatio-- I feel that Jewel is that significant in setting standards for my strivings
